The NBA is in the midst of a playoff race.

But in a year of playoff madness, one player has found himself with a chance to shine.

LeBron James is now in the running to be the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft, according to multiple outlets, with multiple sources saying he could be the first overall pick.

The Boston Celtics are reportedly interested, and the New York Knicks are also rumored to be interested, as are several teams including the Philadelphia 76ers, who are believed to be pursuing the No, 1 pick.

LeBron has been playing with the Celtics since he was 17, according, the report.

He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2013, and has made it to the NBA Finals with them.

He has been a regular part of the Celtics roster since his rookie season, but he was cut in favor of Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley in the 2014 NBA Finals.

James is still a member of the Heat, but has a new team now.

James joined the Heat in 2020 and was a key part of Miami’s title run.

He averaged 20.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists last season.
